Hi, I’m Gill and I run Sweaty Mama Glasgow South & West. I’m fully certified and insured in safe pre & postnatal exercise, adult & paediatric first aid and babywearing best practices. I decided to specialise in pre & postnatal fitness after having my little boy in 2021, and discovering how little support is available for new Mums. My classes aim to help you get back into movement safely, in a friendly and relaxed environment, with the added bonus of being able to bring baby too, and meet other Mums for support. Perfect as your first step in returning to movement after baby, classes are led by an experienced postnatal fitness specialist and certified MummyMOT FitPro, with each session incorporating breathwork and functional strengthening exercises that will help aid your postnatal recovery. Mamalates is a relaxed, supportive, baby-led class that will help you to feel stronger and more confident in your postpartum body, with baby beside you every step of the way. Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal delivery/ 8 weeks post C-section delivery.

No need to worry about childcare — your baby joins in with you, whether you're holding, babywearing, or interacting on the mat. Each session is carefully created to support your postpartum recovery, with a mix of postnatal safe low-impact cardio, resistance, and strengthening core-focused movements, all to music you'll love! Classes are led by an experienced postnatal fitness specialist and certified MummyMOT FitPro, and are suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal delivery/8 weeks post C-section delivery. I'm also a SlingaBaby certified Babywearing Peer Supporter, and a free carrier fit check and babywearing support is included with every booking.
